The Glow Worm
Message from the CEO
Hello and welcome to our second edition of the newsletter.
The newsletter will be called “The Glow Worm” and teamed with the winning phrase “Extra, Extra, Read all about Everglow Community Care”.
Well after a very busy month, we are nally in our new premises at Suite 2, 155 Hugh Street in Currajong. There has been a problem getting our phones connected and they will not be fully functioning until the 23 May, so if you are phoning the o ce please be aware that we can only divert to one mobile phone and if that is busy, it will go to message bank. Please leave a message and we will get back to you.
Our opening will be on the 18th May in conjunction with your monthly outing. The o ce will be opened by Cathy O’Toole MP, the Member for Herbert and we are hoping to see you all there.
We have a large room that we are going to use for the wellness program, currently we are having Yoga, Colouring and Gentle Exercises. We would love to have something for you to enjoy every day so please provide some suggestions for group activities and we will do our best to introduce.
What is happening in Ingham for Anzac Day
The Halifax Museum asked for help making 800 poppies to create a display for Anzac Day and the ladies in Ingham took up the challenge. Pictured holding one of the
displays are (left to right) Angela Bonaccorsi; Al na Leonardi; Grace Blanco and Santina Cross.
**************** Congratulations to Kenneth and Margaret Robson who celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary on 17th May 2017. Receiving letters from both the Qld Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk MP and the Governor, Paul de Jersey AC has helped make this anniversary a very special one. We wish you every happiness for the future.
