The Glow Worm

Message from the CEO

Hasn’t the cooler weather been fantastic. As we are in the new financial year we have just completed the annual review of our Fees Policy, most fees will increase by $1 – $2 dependent on the service. Allied Health has gone up $5 to help cover costs. You will receive a copy of the policy shortly.

Some of our staff are receiving training in foot care this month which will see them competent to cut toenails. This service will only be for clients who do not have diabetes or other foot problems that a Podiatrist is required to treat. Once the staff are trained we will let you know more.

I would like to ask you all a question: If you would attend some fun activities or provided with opportunity to socialise with others – what is it that you would like to do? By activities I mean games, craft, exercise, social cuppa for example. I welcome your responses so please give me a call to discuss your options any time.

It has been great to see the numbers to social functions increasing and if you would like to do something different we are happy to have suggestions.

Until next month, stay safe.

Congratulations

Birthday wishes to Dulcie who recently turned 90.

Gentle Movement to Music Classes.

Greetings Everglow Friends,

Hi, I am Vicki Salisbury and I invite you to join Gentle Movement to Music classes being offered at Everglow Townsville.   We have a big, new space to work in and these classes are accessible to anyone who wants to increase energy, release tension and have some laughs.  Every session we strengthen with gentle movement in chairs, lift our spirits with rhythmic dance and a bit of sing along, followed by stretching for relaxation.
