Message from the CEO
Hi everyone,
Fancy being in June already, I must say though the cooler weather is pleasant and a great opportunity to drag out the winter gear.
We are settling in to our new premises and a great big thank you to you all for your patience while we not so patiently wait for Telstra and NBN to sort out our phones. All of our lines are ringing into one mobile at this time and I know many of you are a bit frustrated with being sent o to message bank. Hopefully we will be hearing that our phones are to be connected shortly.
It is almost the end of the nancial year and we have done a lot of work to sort out the problems we have been experiencing with the computer system we are using. We are well on the way to a resolution of the problems and from July 1 we will be able to start the new nancial year with minimal delays in invoicing and queries.
As stated last year we have been reviewing our Fees Policy, we will have a minimal increase in your fees from July 1 and I will be providing you all with a copy of the new policy and the associated fees attached to the services.
Each of our Centres are trialling new activities for your social enjoyment and I encourage you to be involved by attending, providing ideas for activities you may wish to be involved in and those who already attend your feedback will be most appreciated.

The Fees Policy has been reviewed and as of July 1 2017 there will be small adjustments to the cost of services.
Our new Eftpos facility has been proving popular for easy payment of accounts.. It has been decided that at this time we will not charge the transaction fee. This will be reviewed in the new year.
Our Townsville Home Maintenance section has expanded owing to demand. The addition of a second crew has meant that times of regular services may vary until everything settles into place.
