“I have been a client of Everglow, for a number of years and have found the workers very caring and very cheerful.  I am very happy with the service I have received.”  –  Mary

“My mother has been a client of Everglow for a number of years now and they have been wonderful to her, so wonderful that I asked if I could also become a client of this organisation. I have now been with them for about 3 years. Having the workers come to the house to help and also the social events are wonderful for the both of us.  If it was not for these wonderful people my mother and myself will both be in a nursing home wasting away.”  – Rosemary

“Music Therapy makes me happy. I’m lazy talking at home, however the music therapist helps me talk properly. Coming to music therapy helps me relax and get away from all the troubles at home. It also helps me walk properly. The music therapist is caring, I enjoy coming to music therapy every week.”  – Margaret

“Music therapy gives me energy and makes me happy, I like to do everything with the music therapist”  – Ivan

“I first contacted ECCLI in 2014 when my husband was officially diagnosed with Dementia. I was scheduled for surgery and needed help. We were both assessed with quiet dignity and help was immediately arranged. The carers were kind, helpful and encouraging, and soon we were able to regain some independence. There are several interesting, useful activities arranged by the staff, and we are all welcome. Themed lunches are organised and these are well attended. It is fantastic to meet up with people from so many different backgrounds. We are all treated equally and a few words and a hug are readily accepted. Knowing that support is readily available reduces the stress of being a carer.”  –  Joan

“About a year and a half ago I joined the gentle exercise class with Grace, the Music Therapist. I also joined the choir activities soon after. Recently I joined the colouring in group once a week. The 3 activities are given in very pleasant surroundings and are always followed by a very nice morning tea. I am very happy attending, the staff is very kind and helpful and I enjoy the company of the participants”.   – Dinie
